The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Kyushu University have discussed how we can achieve our mutual goal of further developing the collaborative relationship between the two universities, despite the challenges we are facing during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are pleased to announce that Illinois and Kyushu will organize a set of virtual colloquia in 2021, in order to launch collaborative work between our two institutions. The first colloquium will explore our efforts to tackle the climate and ecological crisis.

On this Kick-off event, Director Sofronis, Profs. Fujikawa and Selyancyn will give their talk.
