Principal Investigator Seiji Ogo of International Institute for Carbon-Neutral Energy Research, Kyushu University has successfully “developed fuel cells that use molecular catalysts for electrodes”. When using the molecular catalyst for a cathode, the performance was 1/25 of fuel cells using a traditional platinum catalyst. A summary of the research results will be released in the online version of Angewandte Chemie International Edition.
