Research on land-based nori cultivation conducted jointly by Prof. Bidyut Baran Saha (MSEEE Thrust) and Daishin Co., Ltd. was featured on Fukuoka TNC News on September 16.

In the winter of 2026, the team successfully cultivated Susabinori on land using natural sunlight, specially developed activated seawater, and a nutrient solution. Based on this achievement, they are now developing an indoor cultivation system that allows cultivation even during the summer season.
