2026. June/October/November: I will give Keynote talk at AMSDG2026 in June (New Taipei), invited talk at 250th Electrochemical Society Meeting in October (Calgary), and invited talk at 2026 IUMRS-ICA in November (Tainan).

2026. March 27: Our manuscript on Generated AI-driven Accelerated Discovery of Passivation Molecules for Perovskite Solar Cells was accepted by Advanced Science!
2026. March 19: The vacuum evaporator integrated glovebox system (donation from Korea Kiyon) was moved in to my laboratory. Check photos 1, 2, 3, 4 here.

2026. March 19: I gave a lecture at the Q.O.E. (Kyushu University Open Explorations 100), with many participants from companies, university staff, high school students. I appreciate your participation! I also appreciate the donation received from the company to support my research! ご寄付いただき、誠にありがとうございました。
2026. March 10: Our recent Nature Communications paper received the Tokuo Fujii Research Fund 「藤井德夫　研究奨励基金」for Support of the Article Processing Charge of International Academic Papers.; 100% of the APC of this paper is covered. I am really appreciative of this support!
2026. February 27: A JSPS Kekenhi research project (Early-Career Scientist) as PI,with the theme of developing inverted structure high-Voc CsPbI3-xBrx solar cells, was adopted.
2026. February 2: Our manuscript on designing new hole-selective monolayer molecules has been accepted by ACS Nano.
2026. January 21, 26, 28: I gave poster presentations at OIST-I2CNER Sympoisum and 2026 I2CNER Annual Symposium, and an oral talk at the CESD workshop.
2026. January 13-15: I gave an invited talk at IPEROP26, Nagoya University.
I also announced the IPEROP27 is to be held in Fukuoka, Prof. Matsushima and me will be the organizer.

2026. January 04: Our manuscript on developing interfacial dipole moment tunning that suitable for both n-i-p and p-i-n configuration has been accepted by Nature Communications!
2025. December: One research funding as PI (direct cost=91,304£≈19,300,000 JPY for 3 years) was adopted by the Royal Society (UK)!; One research funding as PI (direct cost=2,000,000 JPY for 1 year) was adopted by 岩谷科学技術研究助成 !
2025. December: A big and generous donation of research facilities (price=21,700,000 JPY) from Korea Kiyon is on the way.
2025. November 30-December 3: I gave an invited talk and served as the chair at CICC-14 , Haikou, China.
2025. November 10: I gave an invited talk at the International Mini-Symposium of Heavy Metal-based Photo-functional materials and Devices: from Lanthanide to Lead Perovskite (Waseda University hosted by Prof. Ishii Ayumi)
2025. August. 27: I was awarded the 日本太陽光発電学会第22回「次世代の太陽光発電システム」シンポジウム Innovative PV 奨励賞.

2025. August. 26-28: I joined the 2025 KJF-International Conference on Organic Materials for Electronics and Photonics; (KJF-ICOMEP 2025), held in Osaka, and gave an oral talk.
2025. July. 24: We had the ISSE 2025 successfully, with 26 invited talks, 16 posters, and over 70 participants. Check ISSE page for more information.
2025. July. 7: I joined 第22回「次世代の太陽光発電システム」シンポジウム and gave an oral talk.
2025. May. 23: A collaboration research project was adopted by IIna, Kumamoto University.
2025. April. 9: ISSE 2025 will be held at I2CNER, Kyushu University on July 23rd-24th. Check ISSE page for more information.
2025. April. 1: Dr. Hanbo Jung joined my team as a postdoc fellow.
2025. January. 31: Dr. Tianhao Wu moved to Shanghai University and best wishes for his future career!
2025. January. 29: WPI-I2CNER had the Annual Symposium 2025, Building a Sustainable Future: Innovation and Practice for a Carbon-Neutral Society, where we invited excellent researchers related to the theme.; This year, I worked as the organizer representative, opening chair, session chair, and I2CNER presentation speaker.
2024. December. 17: I gave an invited talk at the WPI-SKCM² and WPI-I²CNER Joint Research Symposium.
2024. November. 27: Our paper on constructing molecules on perovskite surfaces through the lattice matching effect was published in Advanced Materials.
2024. July. 22-23: The first conference of ISSE (ISSE 2024) was successfully held at I2CNER, Kyushu University. This is the first trial of the ISSE series and it attracted over 50 participants from worldwide. Check the ISSE page for more information.
2024. January. 16: Dr. Tianhao Wu joined my team as a postdoc fellow.
2023. June. 01: I joined I2CNER, Kyushu University, as a tenure-track assistant professor. I will continue my research in perovskite solar cells and expect more exciting work.
