【JST-NEXUS】Research Stay in Khon Kaen (Feb. 9-13, 2026)
Under the JST-NEXUS project, we visited Khon Kaen University together with the Co-PI team from RIKEN. Maeda delivered a lecture entitled "Advanced Spectroscopy Platform at CESD/WPI-I2CNER". The presentation and our visit stimulated active discussions and opened up promising prospects for future collaborations.
Research Stay at Khon Kaen University under JST-NEXUS Project (Nov. 25-28,
2025)
As a part of the JST-NEXUS project, we visited Khon Kaen University for
a collaborative research stay focusing on catalyst development and advanced
spectroscopy. The visit included productive discussions, joint experiments,
and knowledge exchange with local researchers and students. We sincerely
appreciate the warm hospitality and generous support provided by our Thai
colleagues, which made this collaboration both successful and memorable.

ME-XAS installation at BL07 of SAGA-LS (Jul. 8-9, 2025)
We are excited to announce that ME-XAS measurements are now available at
BL06 (4-14keV) and BL07(8-35keV).
First Electrochemical Experiment of JST-NEXUS (Jun. 23, 2025)

ME-XAS measurements at SAGA-LS (Mar. 5-7, 2025)
Within the framework of CESD collaborative work, we conducted beamtime
experiments at BL06 of SAGA-LS with our collaborators from Hokkaido University.

Discussion at SAGA-LS (Feb. 12, 2025)
Maeda discussed a collaborative project on operando electrochemical ME-XAS for PEFC with Prof. Sugiyama at SAGA-LS and Dr. Mufundirwa at SPring-8.
Research stay at Yamada lab of RIKEN (Jan. 7-9, 2025)
We constructed a "hand-made" in situ ATR-IR cell for their applications.
