On Tuesday, April 11, 2023, the third results reporting meeting was held based on the comprehensive collaborative research contract between Mitsui Chemicals, Inc. and Kyushu University.

At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Uehara, Director, Center for Frontier Technology Center, R&D Division, Mitsui Chemicals, Inc. and
Dr. Takai, Director, Mitsui Chemicals Carbon Neutral Research Center, Kyushu University, gave opening remarks and expressed their expectations for the social implementation of the results from the joint research.

After that, each faculty member in charge of research reported on the progress and results of their research themes, and opinions were exchanged.

Finally, Dr. Ishihara, Director of the International Institute for Carbon-Neutral Energy Research, Kyushu University, and Mr. Uehara, Director of the Center, Mitsui Chemicals, Inc. gave general comments, and Mr. Shibata, Managing Executive Officer of Mitsui Chemicals, Inc. gave closing remarks.
