On December 13, 2022, the first steering committee was held based on the comprehensive collaborative research contract between Mitsui Chemicals Inc. and Kyushu University.

At the beginning of the meeting, Representative Director, Member of the Board and Senior Managing Executive Officer, CTO, Yoshino from Mitsui Chemicals, Inc., and Executive Vice President Fukuda from Kyushu University, gave opening remarks, expressing their expectations for the social implementation of the results of joint research.

In addition, the evaluation of the current research theme and the next year’s research policy were discussed, and both confirmed a further cooperation between Mitsui Chemicals Inc. and Kyushu University.
