The 5^th Joint Exhibition by the Fukuoka City Children’s Science & Culture Center and the Kyushu University Museum, which was cosponsored by the Kyushu University’s International Institute for Carbon-Neutral Energy Research (I²CNER), was held during the summer holiday from July 21 to August 30 in the Fukuoka City Children’s Science & Culture Center.

The exhibition theme was “Environment and Energy.” The exhibition style was a fun, hands-on display that children could touch and play with while learning about “hydrogen energy” and “the low-carbon society.” About 16,000 attendees participated in the exhibition.

Associate Professor Tsuyohiko Fujigaya and Assistant Professor Keigo Kitamura gave the science lectures. Both lectures used easily understood terms to explain the wonders of science.
