Ligand effect on energy storage performance
Electrochemical energy conversion processes such as water electrolysis, oxygen reduction reaction, and nitrogen reduction to ammonia

Developing high-performance materials for hydrogen and oxygen evolution reactions and nitrogen-to-ammonia conversion with high Faradaic efficiency.

Bifunctional electrocatalyst for water splitting

Research Methods and Facilities

Materials synthesis and structural characterization

Synthesis of hybrid porous materials with their structural and surface properties investigation using different characterization and spectroscopic methods.

Manganese phosphonates with different morphologies
Electrochemical characterization and Energy storage testing

Electrochemical measurements for evaluating batteries, supercapacitors, and electrocatalysts. These facilities enable the investigation of charge-storage mechanisms, ion transport, charge-transfer kinetics, and electrochemical stability.

Electrochemical energy storage measurement
Electrocatalytic evaluation

Electrocatalytic performance can be evaluated using three-electrode systems to study hydrogen evolution reaction (HER), oxygen evolution reaction (OER), and alternative anodic oxidation reactions. These measurements allow assessment of overpotential, Tafel kinetics, Faradaic efficiency, and durability of the electrode materials.
