WPI research center booths

I²CNER ran a booth at "Science Festa in Kyoto 2011", which was held at Kyoto International Conference Center on 17^th and 18^th December. The science event was organized by Cabinet Office and other major organizations and companies targeting mainly at high school students.

At the I²CNER booth, we set a theme on “Moving toward a Low Carbon Society” and introduced researches of I²CNER, demonstrating how to run miniature hydrogen cars and showing visual materials about Carbon Capture and Storage. Also we streamed a news clip about Prof. Ogo’s research to publicize I²CNER’s achievements and efforts. About 654 participants visited our booth during the event.

On 12th December, Mr. Nakagawa, Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, and Mr. Furukawa, Minister of State for Science and Technology Policy, visited the venue and viewed each WPI booth.
