The World Premier International Research Center Initiative (WPI) Institutes, including the International Institute for Carbon-Neutral Energy Research (I2CNER), ran booths at “SSH student workshop”, which was held at Pacifico Yokohama on 6th and 7th August. This event is held to foster students’ interest in science and technology as well as to promote SSH project. I2CNER shared a booth with Tohoku University Advanced Institute for Materials Research (AIMR) and International Center for Materials Nanoarchitectonics (MANA) to introduce our research. 5 WPI researchers including Assoc. Prof. Tsuji (CO2 Storage Research Division, PI) made presentation at “Researchers Mini Live.” More than 50 high school students and teachers participated in the lecture. The lecture was closed with a question and answer session.
Students and teachers of 204 Super Science High Schools, 23 invited international schools and general public participated in the event.
