I²CNER joined “Kyushu University Open Campus 2014” on 2nd August.

Many students (some of them came a long way from Hyogo or Tottori to Ito Campus) joined our sessions which we explained our research and the cutting-edge institute.

Dr. Nishihara and Dr. Lyth talked about being a researcher and energy problems, showed an experiment of using a pencil. At Dr. Shao’s lab, he explained an outline of research at I²CNER using a model. Dr. Kitamura took them to a fieldwork and explained CO₂capture.

All the students enjoyed the Open Campus at I²CNER.
