Prof. Xing Zhang (Thermal Science and Engineering Research Division) was awarded “ATPC Significant Contribution Award” by the 10th Asian Thermophysical Properties Conference (ATPC) on October 3, 2013. Assist. Prof. Naoya Sakoda (Thermal Science and Engineering Research Division) was also awarded “ATPC Young Scientist Award” in the conference.
The Asian Thermophysical Properties Conference (ATPC) is one of the foremost international conferences for the engineers and researchers working in the fields of Thermophysical Properties. The ATPC Significant Contribution award is provided to a professional thermophysical scientist who has made significant contributions or achieved great accomplishments to Asian Thermophysical Properties Research and been recognized by the academia. The ATPC Young Scientist Award is awarded to a junior professional thermophysical scientist who has made significant contributions to Asian Thrmophysical Properties Research as a support at the beginning of his/her professional career.
