On Monday, March 2, 2026, young researchers from various WPI centers gathered at the Mokuzai Kaikan in Koto-ku, Tokyo, to participate in the WPI Young Researchers Forum. Through lectures, group discussions, and poster presentations, participants deepened their interactions with one another and reflected on their future career paths.

From I2CNER, Assistant Professor Saeid Akrami and graduate student Kentaro Wada took part in the forum. In addition, Prof. Nicola Helen Perry (Associate Professor, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign), who was affiliated with I2CNER from 2014 to 2017, also joined the event and delivered a talk on how her research experience at I2CNER contributed to the development of her career.
