A research group led by Prof. Shigenori Fujikawa (Multiscale Science and Engineering for Energy and the Environment Thrust), in collaboration with Sojitz Corporation and other companies, has started an experiment on the implementation of separation membrane-based DAC devices for greenhouse horticulture. This has been introduced in the Japanese newspaper, Nishinippon, 14th January 2025.
