On Tuesday, February 6, 2024, Vice Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Mr. Akio Fujiwara, paid a visit to I²CNER.

Prof. Shigenori Fujikawa, Associate Director, gave a general introduction to the research on membrane-based CO₂ capture and utilization technology and its social implementation, followed by an exchange of opinions on our efforts toward realization of a “Beyond Zero” society.

The visit ended with visiting the laboratory of Prof. Fujikawa in the I²CNER research buildings.
