“Direct air capture by membranes” selected for the MRS Bulletin Interest and Influence Collection

Our review article, “Direct air capture by membranes,” published in MRS Bulletin in 2022 by Shigenori Fujikawa and Roman Selyanchyn, has been selected for the MRS Bulletin Interest and Influence Collection.

The collection highlights MRS Bulletin articles that were among the most highly cited and downloaded over the past five years, with 42 articles included in the collection.
Our article discusses the potential of membrane separation as a new approach to Direct Air Capture (DAC) and proposes future membrane performance targets for realizing membrane-based DAC.

We are very pleased that the article continues to attract broad interest four years after its publication.
Building on the knowledge gained through this work, we will continue exploring new science and technologies extending beyond DAC and membrane separation.
