Kousuke Taketsuna (M1), Yi-Hsin LIn (B4) and Roman Selyanchyn attending ICOM-2023 conference.

International Congress on Membranes (ICOM) is a major membrane science and technology conference. It brings together experts, researchers, and industry professionals from around the world to discuss and share advancements in membrane research, materials, processes, and applications. The conference offers plenary lectures, oral presentations, poster sessions, and exhibitions, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and ideas in the field.

This year ICOM-2023 takes place at Makuhari Messe, Chiba, Japan, on July 9-14, 2023. The members of our lab Kosuke Taketsuna (M1), Yi-Hsin Lin (B4), and Dr. Roman Selyanchyn, presented their research on the second day of the conference. The presentation titles were as follows:

  1. Exploring the feasibility of membrane technology for direct air capture – (oral presentation by Dr. Roman Selyanchyn)
  2. Enhancement of CO2 selectivity of membranes by molecular anchoring – (oral presentation by Taketsuna Kousuke, M1)
  3. Size effect of MOF particles embedded in polymeric membranes on the CO2 separation performance – (poster presentation by Yi-Hsin Lin, B4)

All presentations were presented on the second day of the conference and attracted the interest of the audience and participants of the conference.
