Research Outline

Fine Bubble Technology and Electrochemical Reactions

Fine bubbles have some specific properties such as long stagnation in solutions, charged surface, and high internal pressure. By utilizing fine bubbles in electrochemical reactions, effective reactions are expected.

Water Electrolysis

We are exploring the water electrolysis system which can generate hydrogen and oxygen separately with high selectivity and efficiency.

Electrochemical CO₂ Reduction Using Carbon Electrodes

The conditions to produce high value-added compounds from CO₂ on carbon-based electrodes are investigated. We aim to develop a flexible reaction system as well.
