Award

Kousuke Taketsuna and Yi-Hsin Lin received the presentation awards at ICOM-2023!

We are pleased to announce that Kousuke Taketsuna (M1) and Yi-Hsin Lin (B4) have been awarded the Presentation Awards at the ICOM-2023 Conference. We are happy that their research results impressed the audience and showcased promising advancements in the field.

Kousuke’s oral presentation entitled “Enhancement of CO2 selectivity of membranes by molecular anchoring” demonstrated an innovative approach to transforming the membrane’s surfaces for better CO2 selectivity. The prestigious recognition acknowledges the potential of this approach to drive future advancements.

Yi-Hsin’s poster presentation entitled “Size effect of MOF particles embedded in polymeric membranes on the CO2 separation performance” showed how the properties of the mixed-matrix membranes could be controlled using the size of the metal-organic framework fillers, improving the selectivity, permeability, and mechanical properties simultaneously.

Congratulations to both students on this well-deserved achievement!
