Toward CO2 capture from air, highly-permeable nanomembranes of poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS) were mechanically reinforced by thin layers of carbon nanotube (CNT), giving COpermeability and gas selectivity of 42,500 GPU and 10 (CO2/N2), respectively in the case of the 27-nm-thick, composite membrane.
