My name is Cammie and I’m a fourth year undergraduate student at the University of Illinois studying Engineering Physics. My research has mainly focused on green energies and energy storage. I am an exchange student through the PIRE program and am working to improve electrode performance in solid oxide electrolysis cells (SOEC) for lower temperature operation. I love exploring history and food all over Japan on the weekends, and enjoying conversations with people from around the world here at I2CNER. Many thanks to all the members of Matsumoto group for all their help and for being so welcoming as I experience life in Japan both in and out of the lab.
