九州大学カーボンニュートラル・エネルギー国際研究所（I²CNER）は、平成27年2月2日（月）、同研究所ホール（九州大学伊都キャンパス）において、"I²CNERアニュアルシンポジウム2015～21世紀のための燃料製造と利用～"を開催し、各地から研究者・企業関係者など約141名が参加しました。

 

九州大学の久保千春総長及びI²CNERのペトロス・ソフロニス所長による挨拶の後、I²CNER及びイリノイ大学サテライトの研究者をはじめとする世界トップレベルの研究者による研究成果の報告が行われました。基調講演には東京大学の橋本和仁教授及びトヨタ自動車株式会社の河合大洋氏を、特別講演として平成26年度文化勲章受章者でWPI招へい教授の國武豊喜教授を迎え、活発な質疑応答が行われました。また、講演後のポスターセッションにおいても、それぞれの研究活動について、参加者による活発な意見交換が行われ、盛況のうちに終了しました。
