Prof. Yasuyuki Takata (Associate Director of I²CNER, Principal Investigator, Thermal Science and Engineering Division) was appointed as the President of The Heat Transfer Society of Japan on May 30, 2019.

Since its establishment, the Heat Transfer Society of Japan (HTSJ) is a unique, nonprofit association in Japan of the people engaged in heat transfer research or in various engineering aspects related to heat transfer.
